Spark Infrastructure owns a 49% share of three quality electricity distribution businesses - ETSA Utilities based in South Australia and CitiPower and Powercor Australia, based in Victoria. Each of these businesses is well placed to benefit from strong ongoing organic growth in their networks.
ETSA Utilities (ETSA) operates and maintains the only significant electricity distribution network in South Australia, supplying around 793,000 customers in all population centres, including the capital city, Adelaide. The ETSA network is one of the most reliable in Australia, with a 99.97% network availability.
Powercor Australia is the largest distributor of electricity in Victoria, owning and operating a network that serves approximately 673,000 customers in central and western regional Victoria and the Western suburbs of Melbourne.
CitiPower owns and operates the distribution network that supplies electricity to over 299,000 customers in Melbourne's CBD and inner suburbs. These customers include some of Australia's largest companies, public transport systems and sporting venues.
